She finally arrived, in all of her blue and white starry glory. But no sooner had she arrived than she was off to enjoy the fun of Las Vegas. I was able to catch a quick pic
before she was off to explore the casinos, exciting nightlife and phenomenal hotel rooms.
When she finally returned, she told me I was to call her Lola...
and then she made her way out to the pool to relax after all her adventures.
Apparently they really were pretty wild times because, so far, she’s refused everything except for herbal tea.

My full name is Anjanette, but feel free to call me Anj.
I grew up in California, but have lived and worked in the UK, Italy and Australia. As a dual citizen of the US and Oz, I hope to return to Australia with my family within 6-12 months. In the meantime, I spend my time trying to keep up with my two sons, Max & Milo, as well as my fantastic husband, Kelvin.
Having always been a writer/journal-keeper, I only decided to pursue it more seriously few years ago when I wrote a non-fiction book about preconception health. Little did I know that writing a book was a much easier proposition than getting a book published! Luckily, I was published in October 2007 and started work on a novel…and if you’ve ever tried to write a novel while raising children, you’ll have some idea as to how far I’ve gotten! ;-)
With so little time to myself, I decided to try some freelance writing. I’d never considered blogging before finding PNN, but feel as if I have come home. Whilst initially drawn in with the paid opportunity as a Relationship Blogger, I have discovered this place is a perfect opportunity to enjoy my favorite past-times – reading, writing and meeting people. I have been truly inspired by the other women (and men!) on PNN.
